    How I can fix it?

    You cannot fix it. After waiting 3 hours twice on the phone. I have been told that tech support
    has to go in manually and fix the return. TW update 31.04 should correct all the returns going forward, but the ones done previously you have to call them

    This is ridiculous!! I called at 7 am this morning, they answered at 10:30 only to hang up on me! I called again at 1 pm and they answered at 3:30 pm. I have been with this company since 1999 when it was ORRTAX and this is the first year that I am DISAPPOINTED in their customer service. Having to wait 3 hrs to get an issued resolved is way too long of a waiting period. And then they want to refer you to the support line as if this is something that we can fix. Sorry just venting as I'm waiting on the phone for the 3rd time!

    Scenario: You efiled a return and received IRS Reject 195 with wording similar to this

    'IPAddress' in 'AtSubmissionCreationGrp' in 'FilingSecurityInformation' in the Return Header must have a valid value.

    Solutions:

    Use the Return Query tool to view the exact field causing the reject.
    The tool shows you the reject reason code and the field value in that return.

    Be sure to track your e-filed returns and see the exact field causing the IRS reject. Click here for instructions.

    a. If the field is blank/all zeros, then you can resolve this error yourself.
    Simply create a new efile and send. The act of recreating the efile causes TW to attempt to populate that blank field with your computer IP Address

    b. If the field has any value other than all zeros or blank, then you cannot resolve this yourself.
    You will need to contact Product Support.
    The rep will walk thru verifying the field value is not blank or all zeros, then perform the steps to resolve

    Return Query will show something similar to: “VALUE = 0000-000-000-000” meaning blank
    Or it will say “VALUE = 1234-567-890” or some other value other than 0’s


    If answer a does not work for you above, then the only recourse is answer b.
    You will need to contact Product Support. You can submit a web ticket on the support site for this issue.
    Login to the support site
    go to the SUPPORT menu
    you will see a link there to submit a web case
    Choose that link and fill out the web ticket
    For this particular issue, you need Technical Support as opposed to Content Support, so click the box to choose Tech Support on the web ticket. in the subject, enter the reject you are getting such as "Reject 199". In the body of the web case, let us know what that you've performed these steps or refer to the blog title as your issue. No need to enter SSNs of returns; the technician will need to call you and remote into your system to resolve.

    I allowed someone at customer support access to my computer. They moved some stuff around and type in info and I was able to send the returns I was getting rejected. BUT !!! Before hanging up, I asked if I would have problems with returns I had prepared earlier today and I was assured that I would not cuz I had the current version. WELL GUESS WHAT?? All the returns I did today still got rejected for the SAME REASON even though I have the current version 31.04. I don't think they have resolved anything with this latest version if the problem is still persisting!

    The issue is generated when you create the return. So if you started the return with an earlier version, then upgraded, then created the efile, you could still have the rejects.

    So I have to call it in AGAIN??? Well now I can't navigate to Solution Center through my software. It is having not wanting to load. I have to go online through my internet explorer to access Solution Center

    The return query tool is not showing me a field?! Reject History just gives me the same info as the Acknowledgements report.... How do I get these returns filed?

    Having the same issue with this REJECT IND-195..Called for 3 days straight with no answer. Yesterday I was finally connected to a Tech, after holding for 5 hours, who said an update would fix my issue. Recreated return, resent, still same issue. Tonight I had 6 more returns with same problem. We need help with this guys. If anyone knows how to fix it manually please post. I would be more than willing to stay up all night just to resolve this issue for my clients.

    No, I was on the phone for hours Saturday, the rep thought she had corrected the problem but did not now today I have another return with same reject. I recreated both returns and still again reject

    531) The following reject messages exist for the US return:


    38 - This efile was created before downloading the latest program or form update. Please download all the latest updates, recreate the efile, and resend.
    Could you please tell me how to fix this

    Had to have a tech run something on my computer for the returns that rejected 195.

    The tech said the problem happens when a return is started on a computer that is not connected to the Internet. That is my problem exactly. Went to the client, prepared their return, efiled back at the office. When you are not on the Internet the IP address of 127.0.0.1 is put in the field. This address is for local network testing (loop back) and not a valid IP address so IRS rejects the return.

    I am now starting all returns at the office while connected to the Internet. Then I can complete the return while meeting with the client, and efile back at the office.

    Ok, so for people like me who have BAD internet connection at work and need to do my filing at home with better internet, then I'm gonna continue having this issue all tax season???

    No, because my internet connection is fine....don't know what is going on but I will go over these returns with a fine tooth comb. Yes we have the re reject code, but have NO idea where the problem is on the return. Hope this is resolved soon.
